Caelum Baguette Bag Noir

I tend to notice whether a bag has one detail too many, and this one feels just right to me. The contrast thread gives it definition, the leather grain adds interest, and the front stays clean. I especially like the slight curve along the bottom of the flap. It’s enough to keep the shape from looking too rigid. A very appealing little shoulder bag.

There’s something satisfying about the proportions of this bag. The body is wide and low, the straps are tall and narrow, and the flap sits neatly across the front. Each part has enough space without making the design look oversized. This VALORA style has a recognizable shape that doesn’t need much added to it. That’s a big part of its charm for me.
